PARENTS
Support for parents
As parents, or hopeful parents, we are often carrying our own challenges, whilst also trying to support the needs of our children, or navigate fertility, pregnancy, loss and early parenthood. Having worked with many families it is not unusual for parenthood to be a time of reflection, and may bring up a whole host of emotional responses to experiences in our past. These can make navigating an already challenging time of life even more difficult.

Some examples of the things we can offer support with at The Parenthood Psychology Practice are:
Reflecting on being parented
Perinatal Loss
Adjustment to Parenthood
Parental burnout
Parenting through toddlerhood
Navigating fertility and pregnancy
Grief and bereavement
Postnatal Depression
Self identity as a parent
Parenting children with additional needs
Fear of Birth/Tokophobia
Birth Trauma
Parent-child relationships and early bonding
Navigating separation
Parenting older children
